Welcome to the Home on the Grange located in Lee, Maine. This building was built in 1840 and became a Grange Hall around 1880. This property has had many many updates over the years. In 2006 the current owners began their journey to bring this piece of history back to life, beginning with a new septic system and bathrooms, then a drilled well with indoor plumbing and running water! From there, insulation was added, a new roof, new heating systems (including the outdoor pellet boiler), walls, windows, decks were replaced, electric was updated, and a 3 story shed on the back was built to provide another source of access to all 3 floors. The building has had many different business ventures throughout the last 17 years including, a pizza shop, ice cream shop, candy bar, theater shows, dancing, live music from the StrumDingers and more! Currently being utilized to sell goods from both High Field Farms and Working Hands Bakery.
