We were house-hunting on relatively short notice from out of state, completely new to the area. I was told about Tony Poulin by a coworker. She had high praise for him after buying her house a few months before, so we thought we would give him a call. I'm so, so glad we did. Tony and his team were a dream to work with as first-time home buyers in a new state! He was so professional all the way around, very responsive to calls and texts, always on time to meet us. He was honest with us about the houses and the areas we were seeing, telling us when things were maybe over-priced for the area, how the schools were, what might be advantages or disadvantages, etc. Neither my husband or I ever felt like he was trying to "sell" us like other agents had. There was never pressure on us about anything. He was so calm and relaxed, it was more like hanging out with a good friend than making one of biggest decisions of our life! Since we were out of state, and the market was moving fast, we had to get a little creative when THE house came on the market. Tony was on top of it. He did a FaceTime walk-through of the house for us so we could see the inside of the house on short notice before it was shown to someone else. He connected us with a mortgage company that was equally as amazing to work with. Paperwork and negotiations were all electronic and super fast (they even made paperwork easy!). Within 4 weeks of being in Maine for the first time, we had found our new home, made an offer, had a mortgage in place, and had a closing date a few weeks away. I highly recommend Tony and his team if you're in the market for a home, especially if you are new to the area or from out of state. Their team is just amazing. I can't say enough good things about them! We loved buying our house from them!
